Justin Nelson

Justin D. Nelson is a Managing Director and Head of the Asset Management and Financial Principals Coverage Team for J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Connecticut. In his role as Market Head, he leads a team of 20 professionals who advise some of the most influential leaders in the hedge fund, private equity, real estate and financial industries. Justin and his team oversee over $11 billion in assets and advise clients on their strategic wealth plans, which include portfolio construction and investment management, estate planning, optimization of credit, cash management and banking services.

Justin is also a Senior Private Banker directly responsible for managing relationships with wealthy individuals and their family offices, endowments and foundations across New York and Connecticut.

Justin was named to Barron's list of Top 1200 Advisors in 2009 and 2020 and named to the Financial Times 400 Top Advisors list in 2020.

Justin received a B.S. from Tufts University in both Chemistry and Economics, and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. He founded and leads the Private Bank’s undergraduate recruiting team for Tufts University. He is also a member of the Tufts Financial Network Advisory Committee. In 2016, he joined the board of directors of the Breast Cancer Alliance, which is based in Greenwich, and currently serves as Treasurer.
